It is clear that not everyone hears everything I say in class, so here goes...the Zoom link you received for class is the one you use for every class.
Both Math and Verbal classes use the same link.
CLASS CHANGE
The Math teacher asked for a switch in days. Therefore, the Tuesday/Thursday SAT group now have roles reversed. It is Maths on Tuesday and Verbal on Thursdays. We will only have Physical classes for monthly Mock exams. So students who showed up today for class, do note ...you were alone in coming in....smile....
It is not an evil smirk, just one that says do listen in class!!
NEWLY ENROLLED SAT AND LSAT STUDENTS
It is time to register for your "real" exams.
LSAT goes to www.lsac.org
SAT goes to www.collegeboard.org
The LSAT exam is online. The SAT exam has several centers across the country. We recommend Priory for Kingston and Mt. Alvernia for Montego Bay.
UPCOMING CONSULTATIONS
All consultations next week will be all online. There will be no physical meetings until September 30, 2022.
PARENT MEETING
This Sunday, at 6 p.m., we will host our Annual Meeting for all new students, along with parents. Those in the Summer Cohort who missed that meeting, they are free to join. Please use the class link to join.
NOTICES
We do not add these notices below for fun. Read. Research. Explore the schools.
Dear Colleague,
Greetings from the UVA Office of Undergraduate Admission! We hope this note finds you well. We wanted to let you know that we will host a Virtual Event Series from mid-September to mid-October, geared toward prospective students. Throughout the sessions, our admission deans and current students will provide insights about first-year and transfer admission, the financial aid process, the student experience, and the student resources available across the University. We would appreciate your help in getting the word out to your students about these programs.
Please note that space is limited. For students who are not able to attend live, we will post recordings of each session on our website.
Best wishes,
Office of Undergraduate Admission
Dear Colleague, I wish you well as another school year begins! Fall brings with it an exciting time of renewed opportunity, as our classrooms once again fill with students. Thank you for the personal care you have provided so many students, who in turn inspire us to live up to the Jesuit ideal of magis, doing and becoming "more." It's a busy time here on the Le Moyne Heights, with a lot of good news to share. We are looking forward to hosting prospective students at our Fall Open House this Sunday, September 18. Le Moyne continues to have exceptional quality and value in the U.S. News & World Report college rankings, following the most diverse entering class in the College's history. We are making a Le Moyne education more accessible by increasing our Promise NY scholarship from $10K to $12K over four years, and allowing students to apply for free through the Coalition Application by Scoir. Students can still apply through the Common Application and the Le Moyne Application as well. As in years past, our Early Action (non-binding) deadline is November 15. Students who apply by this date receive priority scholarship consideration, and they will be among the first to receive an admission decision on December 15. The deadline to apply for our Direct Entry Physician Assistant Programs is also November 15. We remain test optional for all programs of study. I look forward to working with you in the year ahead. Please reach out anytime for questions, conversation, or catchup. Sincerely, Timothy M. Lee, Ph.D. Vice President for Enrollment Management

Dear colleagues, As we all embark on another year, I'm grateful for the opportunity we have to connect and to continue our meaningful work together. In this spirit, I want to provide you with some exciting developments at the College. Here's a brief snapshot:
We'd love for you to nominate your students for our outstanding scholarship programs. These include premier scholarship programs as well as guaranteed scholarships for Centre Fellows. Please note, students have an earlier deadline this year for premier scholarships: December 1.
Centre's $60 million investment in the holistic wellness of our community continues to take shape and excite our campus family.
The College is pleased to be offering new academic programs, building on our already robust and dynamic liberal arts and sciences curriculum.
Danville and Centre continue to build upon an exceptional "town-gown" relationship, highlighted by CentreWorks, our design thinking and entrepreneurship laboratory.
We continue to connect our students to a growing world, offering some of the best-ranked and highest quality study abroad and domestic study away programs.
and finally...
We want YOU to visit Centre College! Centre has long hosted one of the most renowned fly-in programs for counselors, and we are delighted to be planning for our first in-person program since 2019! While space is very limited, we invite you to fill out our interest form (you'll get more information about this in the coming weeks) with priority going to our planned 2020 attendees. Not able to make it to the fly-in? We are pleased to offer travel vouchers to counselors who would like to come and visit Centre! Simply fill out this form, and we'll be in touch.
Sandra,
We know that the college search process can be overwhelming for students, and we want to help show your students the diverse options available to them as they decide which school may be the best fit. You're invited to Engaging Distinctive Universities, a collaborative virtual event for counselors hosted by Emory University, Rice University, the University of Michigan and the University of Washington. On Tuesday, September 13 at 2 p.m. CDT (3 p.m. EDT, 12 p.m. PDT), we will present a variety of perspectives on academic programs, philosophies and traditions that make our universities distinctive.
RSVP As a reminder, we're also offering sessions for students, and we encourage you to invite them to join us at the following student event dates and times:
Tuesday, September 13 at 7 p.m. CDT (8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT)
Wednesday, September 28 at 7 p.m. CDT (8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT)
While each of our schools is unique, we are united in our commitment to help students make informed decisions about which college is the best fit for them. We look forward to having you there!
Sincerely,
